Looking to Auto-dim my dome light - schematics anyone??
So, I have determined that the dimming feature on the dome light is a sport model only feature. My dealer tells me that this can’t be upgraded with either a programming change or an electronic module. And, I would still appreciate a time delay on the dome light to allow me to get the key in the ignition after closing the door at night.
First of all, can anyone verify my dealer’s response… is there anyone who has wiring diagrams for sport and non-sport models who can vouch for the impossibility of adding an electronic module or alternate dome light?
Secondly, if that fails, I am interested in making my own little circuit to dim the dome light after a short time delay. I have found some simple circuits for doing this on the net already. Anyone have anything which they have successfully implemented?
