The Mugen Civic Type-RR has an F1-style brake light in the center of the bumper. I'd like one on my Fit.
Maybe I could re-wire a bicycle safety flashing light to my brake lights.

 

Dont do the bicycle idea. Thats..... well, ghetto.
If anything, use those LED trailer lights. Either the brake lights or the side safety lights.

Id still like to do a rear fog light on my Fit.

 

As Mx6 kinda hinted at already... that is a fog light, not a brake light.

the flashing light on the f1 cars is not a brake light. it's a safety light for pit stops, yellow flag situations, bad weather, etc. basically a rear fog light.

 

Doubt it. The only way to get genuine Mugen parts for the RR is to be an actual owner. They're not reselling anything as "parts". I verified this with someone way up in the company.

Look toward maybe the Euro Jazz. The Europeans use rear foglights as well

 

JDM land has some from an ek9 and dc2

 

something like that would look out of place to me. expecially that ^^^^^

 

I had one on my old accord, and the style and shape would look out of place on a fit imo
