dome light problems

How do I pry off the dome without damaging anything? I looked and it doesn't seem like I can fit a flathead in there to break it loose...

nevermind lol I jammed the screwdriver in that tiny-ass space. Showed it who's boss, and it damn sure wasn't Tony Danza!

The cargo light is giving me issues though. I couldn't get the flathead in there. Hmmm...anyone got some help for me?

same thing man, jam the flathead, pop it out. There's a little notch like the dome light has, I think it's to the left if your looking at the lens from the trunk.
It'll pop out - and heck it can't be that expensive from the dealer if you do snap it. I've popped mine on and off dozens of times trying to setup an LED board. 0 problems.

lol thanks for the help man. I think I broke the cover though. I took the old bulb out and tried to jam my LED bulb in there to be held in place, but it bent the first 2 gold things and I can't really get the light to stay on with the cover back in place because the bulb isn't secured at all. It was pissing me off for an hour so I had to quit. I'll get a new cover from the dealer (hopefully it's like $10 or less) sometime and try again haha

someone suggested using a credit card to pry it off. It worked for me.
