Man the 5k must be super bright and clear. The hids on my accord and bike are 6k, and on the bike they are blue, and the car is white/purple. They have good output, but the 4300 do put a lil more light out. Haven't seen any of the 5ks

Worst fog lights I've ever seen! WTF was Honda thinking when they designed those. Aiming does'nt help the forward illumination at all. But they do make good cornering lights! I had to reaim my headlights too because the factory setting was only good for about 60-70 ft. Honda makes good stuff but they did some things on the Fit that are pretty crappy. They did fix many of them on the 09's but it still makes me wonder why the put some obviously bad designs into such a great little car.

Same here... the fogs on the 09 GE Fits seem to be pretty good... the ones on my GD1 were not the best...

I don't know what you all are whining about.... I have the factory fogs on my sport still. With the original bulbs, and they do the job and then some. I don't know what you all are looking for wanting your fogs to light up the whole road or whatever. If you want that you need a set of "driving lights" or just go all out for PIAA offroad lights.
But for real people these are FOG LIGHTS! As someone said they are made to be aimed low and light the lane lines and directly infront of the car not everything for a mile infront of the car.

Unless you have lowered you car, aiming them up just defeates their purpose.

Maybe all of you should have your eyes checked.

fog lights flickers or head lights or doesn't work ground the black wire off the ballast to the chassis the red wire to fog light stock wire. Did it to my fit the morning and test drive the fit in wet conditions and it works no problems with my hid fogs or head light hids

I think they make a difference. I really like my yellow fogs because they help make everything on the road look better/easy to see. I've tried turning them off while driving and my 6K headlights just make everything look too Cyan blue. But with the yellow fogs everything seems more appealing.

id have to agree with you man, i just got some 3000k hids and they seemed to help a lot, i took my nokya hyper yellows out and noticed they were getting too hot and formed a bubble on the side of them, good thing i changed them

My fogs work perfect and do exactly what they're supposed to do. Come out to hilly and forested Connecticut instead of the city and see how much of a difference it makes. The Fog lights are the only reason I haven't destroyed my Fit from deer running into the road. The light output to the sides and down low is exponentially greater than the low beams.

this is just the first fog rolling in around 7pm today, by morning you wont see the car until you run into it. My house is in wine country directly against open cow fields. Its so thick, and it sticks to the car. I have been totally blind on my RR before, its scarry as hell. You disappear into nothing. That's why my fogs are so useless. I have had some great projector fogs in the past that worked like lazer beams through it, the cutoff was excellent. I would think HID fogs, even 3000k would have hella glare in the thick stuff outta these housings
