Remove 09 headlight housing from car??

I'm trying to get started on my HID retrofit and I'm having trouble getting the housing removed from the vehicle.

For the driver's side light, I've removed the two obvious bolts (top of light and bottom left, under the front grille plastic piece). Now I can't pull it from the vehicle. It feels like there's something on the inside bottom right of the housing, but I can't find it.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks!!

The head lights have 3 separate mountings points that need to be removed per side..

I'm guessing that since I can't see the third, I have to remove the bumper to get to it?

If not, it would be a great help if you could offer some tips as to how to locate that third mount point.

Thanks!!

you need to remove the bumper off the car and there's 4 bolts holding on to the headlights.

I was afraid of that. Oh well, time to dig in and get my hands dirty. Is there a how to for the '09's bumper removal? I'll look around but if you can post a link that would help as well.

Thanks!!

just a bit of advice, and i dont want to insult you here...but your planning on doing your own retro but cant figure how to get the headlights off the car? only a techincally inclined person should attempt a retro...and removing headlights is the easiest part of the job.

might want to invest in a second set of headlights so that if you butcher your headlights you can still drive your car without having to panic and pay retail from the dealer.
