interior lighting - what color ???
ok, so I can't decide on what color I want my interior color to be. I first wanted to put green LED's but I'm not sure it'll look good because the radio and the gauges are blue.
Can you guys post pics are your Fit with their interior lighting or your opinion.
thanks

If you don't like the semi-yellowish shade of the factory bulbs, I recommend the LED white bulbs. Aside from using less juice, I think they give a cleaner, crisper, and brighter light. Given that the interior of the fit is black (u have a ge, right?) with the exception of the upper glove, radio, and a few other parts of the dash it would only make it harder to see. Green might not be so bad, but it would sort of no match so great with the bluish of the radio and gauge cluster.
In my Fit, I have a white LED in the dome and passenger-side map light, as well as the rear cargo area. On the driver-side map light I put a red LED so as to not be too bright if I or someone needs to find something, or read a map or directions while the car is moving. Plus the red also won't hurt night vision (nerdy, I know, but practical.)
That was my approach to interior lighting. I wanted it to be light I could actually use, otherwise why pay for fancy bulbs? I don't really have pics yet, but can take some if you really want to see.

thx guys
the interior lighting I wanted to put in my car were : two 6inch LED tubes underneath my dash (one on the pasenger side and one on my side), two 4inch LED tubes underneath the seats (one passenger and one driver)
For my trunk, I wanted to put one 6inch LED tube on each on the rails that originally hold the cover.
I also wante it to look sporty (like the cars in the fast and the furious).
Can you post pics of your lights filster ???
TIA

I went with blue LEDs throughout to match the gauge clusters stock color. It is also easy to find a Head Unit in blue. Look at my post here and you can see all I have done. A LOT OF LEDs!!!
