?uestion about HID kits

Can you take any temperature bulb and plug them into any HID kit as long as the amperage/wattage/voltage/whateverage are correct? Or is the ignitor specific to those bulbs?

Also, The HID kit I have has OEM style bulbs (H4?) on them, but if I were to do a retrofit, could I take different bulbs that would fit my projectors and just plug those right in?

You would need get an adapter for the different sized bulbs. The connection is different for every bulb.

If you are to use a projector that fits on a D2S bulb and use your current ballast you would need an amp connectors you can get it from this site The Retrofit Source (U.S.) - HID Projector Retrofit Kits, Retrofit and HID Componenents, Projectors Lens, Wiring Harnesses, Shrouds and more!
