I will be jumping on that band wagon real soon. Just need my next pay cheque haha. You used yahoo.co.jp eh? Does he sell through Rakuten for this part? I know he sells others things through Rakuten. I ask this question because I find it a lot easier to enter my address through Rakuten as I have used it before. And by address, I am referring to my Tenso address.

You will not be upset at all. The item I ordered from him came in legit honda box stickers and everything. Great guy he is. Mind you I ordered an 09 part to mod and swap into my 07. I knew I would have to make it Fit. Might hold off on this mod for a bit. Looking at struts and sways for the winter before the snow hits.

Today JapanParts.com has it listed for 16620JPY ($162.15USD/$177.25CAD) and Amayama.com has it listed for $163.65USD/$178.59CAD (16740JPY). It looks really nice, but I just can't justify spending that much (not even including shipping) for a dome/roof light.

works in GK5 too (sort of)
So if anyone is wondering, I now have a 2015 Fit EX now, and successfully transplanted this dome light into the new car. Things of note:
1) The wiring is the same, with the ground pin already organic to the plug.
2) The brackets and screw holes are exactly the same as well.
3) The new plug does not fit into the old pins. The new plug mates into a setup with lower profile pins and a side retainer. This was solved with a pair of diagonal snips and some twists of a pliers (all on the dome light end). The pins on my dome light are now about half as wide, with a small piece of guide plastic missing, and held in by friction. Even with the modifications, it should still fit back into a GD or GE or whatever other Honda dome light of that era.
I saw in the JDM accessory brochure that they offer a new fancy dome light for the new Fits. Other than the new pin layout though, it looks to be identical to the one I currently have from the previous generation.
