Convert front turn-signals to dual filament?
I'd love to use my turn signals as running lights. To do this, I was thinking about switching from the 7440 single-filament socket to a 7443 dual-filament socket.
Has anyone done this?

Pull out your tail light... it's a 7443 bulb.
see if the socket adapter fits where you want it. the adapter can be disconnected from the wiring harness.
if it does, it's only a matter of splicing an extra wire for the "parking light."
If not... well, going to have to figure out something else.
edit: according to sylvania bulb application for our Fit, the front turn signal bulb is 7507, not 7440. Only the rear turn signal is 7440A .
