GK5 Fog Light Housing Removal?

GK5 Fog Light Housing Removal?
Does anyone know how to remove the GK5 foglight housings?
I tried prying it out from the outside edges with a flathead screwdriver, but it was still really tight on there after freeing up 2 clips.
I don't want to damage the paint trying to force it while trying to figure out how it comes out.
Is there a side I should start with first?

To remove them properly, the front bumper must be taken off. REad the FACTORY instructions for installing the OEM sports grill accessory. It will provide all the steps.
Each foglight housing has 8 clips. Getting to each of them for complete removal is best done from the inside of the front bumper.
Should you decide on pursuing this route, consider the ff:
- have a thick blanket or rug to rest the removed bumper
- this is the best time to upgrade the OEM "beep-beep" sounding horn
Good luck and let us know how your project turns out.

You can remove them very easily without removing the bumper.
Use a SOFT plastic trim tool and pry starting on the outside, and once you get those clips to pop, start at the top and work your way to the inside. Once you get enough clips to pop that you can get your fingers between the fog light shroud and the actual light itself, you can pull it the rest of the way off gently, while prying along to bottom.
Go slow and you won't break anything.
I've done it this way 3 times on both sides since I've owned the car and never had an issue.

You are correct but I still ended up breaking one of the clips on my driver's side. It was being stubborn, it was cold out and I was in the moment. That's all it took! *&^%
