GE8 DIY Guildeline - Illuminated Auto Folding Side Mirror Switch Conversion

If you insists for conversion means you're AGREED the disclaimer as above.

These was done by me on my JAZZ GE8. It should be suitable for USDM JAZZ or FIT...

Please follow the guideline on below comment step by step:

1. Remove meter hood


2. Remove 2pcs screws


3. Left=Jazz/Fit switch, Right=CRZ switch


4. Remove the claws as show by red arrow to separate the switch from cover


5. Position of claws which can find on top & bottom


6. Switch separated from cover


7. Front View : Left=CRZ switch, Right=Jazz/Fit switch


8. Rear View : Left=CRZ switch, Right=Jazz/Fit switch


9. Create a power cord, earth wire & illumination wire


10. Interleave to the socket terminal, red arrow is illumination wire, blue arrow is earth wire


11. Diagram of socket terminal, Pin 10 is illumination wire, Pin2 is earth wire


12. Wedge the illumination wire to any illuminator line such as VSA or ECON from Power Fuse Box, the earth wire connecting to the Addiotional Ground.


13. Enjoy the illuminated Auto Folding Side Mirror Switch
