We just recieved a shipment of the Nagisa Auto, "Super Low Seat Rails" for the Honda Fit. This is a great option for those tall drivers with limited headroom or for those of you that track your car and must wear a helmet. They fit a variety of popular seats including Bride, Sparco, Recaro, etc...

Is there a web site for recaro seats, sparco,BRIDE, any website would be helpful and I was reading one post about the passenger seat when it came to disconnecting the air bag sensor, how did you guys go about it??? did you disconnect the battery??? any info would be gladly appreciated.

so if you replace your seats you not only lose your side airbags but your whole SRS system won't work? I'm assuming that because i know in my current car if your airbag light is on none of your airbags would pop....

if you replace the seats with airbags to those without, you will need a resistor wire kit to stop the light showing on the dash, something like :

Capital Seating and Vision > Seating, Vision and Accessories for Hardworking Environments

resistor wire kit mimics the presence of a side air bag. It is often used in situations where a seat fitted with a side air bag is being replaced by a seat without an air bag. Warning lights are likely to appear on the dashboard display without this type of device.

"Tall" driver, with new leg problems

Hey everyone,

I'm conisderably "tall" for a FIT driver... 6'00" tall to be exact.
Since driving this sweet ride Jan 05 of this year, I've been getting not so sweet leg pains and cramps regularly. It has increased monthly as I drive it from MD to VA or NY occasionally.

Not to say that these long road trips are at fault, but the fact that no matter where or when I drive, I have lingering pain.

It's espcially worst on my right kneee cap.

Anyway, what aftermarket part suggestions do you have? I am evenbtually going to replace my seat for something for comfortable, stylish and affordable, and I'd also like to know if I can replace/adjust/tweak my pedals lower so I don't have to striuggle to keep my leg and foot raised while driving...

When I drove a Ford Taurus, I could comforably reach for the gas & brake pedals. No pain, with plenty of gain.

calm down. All other airbags works except the one you removed. Most aftermarket rails have a mount to bolt up the seat belt buckle mechanism. I dont have a pic, but it bolts right up.

I'm sorry, but do the seat sensors still work? They are annoying but still. You mentioned the airbags, are they still workin? I am just starting to work on my FIT so I have some pretty basic questions, sorry! AP

Fitment is almost 100%
However passenger airbag module/sensor/whatever--- needs to be mounted on the side if factory seat belts are to be retained!

Enjoy!

Seat sensor is left detached. Same with the airbag sensor. The only thing that is re-attached is the seat belt harness so that it doesn't beep like mad even if you buckle up. All airbags except for the disconnected side airbag still work and will deploy if there is an accident. I also heard that the passengers side stock seat belt clip is welded onto the mounting bracket on the passenger seat. Can someone who has swapped them out confirm? I only did the drivers side.
