Hello everyone. I am new to this site and thought you might like to see my radio install that I just finished in my 07 Fit Sport.

i hate the design with the wire sticking out of it... why didn't you hide it?

Could be his radio doesn't have a rear aux input.

That is the best metra setup that I have seen so far. I can't tell how well the color match is from the low quality of the picture, but it looks good none the less.

The color match on my metra kit is perfect and chjl is correct. The radio does not have a rear auxiliary input and I am using the front one for my Roady XT which I mounted in the center console.

Aftermarket stereo & electric locks?

I installed an Alpine IVA-W200 and now my electric locks don't work. I have come to the conclusion this is part of the security system.

Do you have to wire up something special to get yours to work?

Thanks

I think I blew a fuse. I tested the radio fuse but it is ok I will keep checking with the meter.

Does anyone know if there is more than one radio fuse, like an inline fuse or one under the hood?

thanks

Look for your fusebox diagram or check the pdf manual that they loaded onto the Fitfreak forums. I'm not sure though since I haven't played around yet.

fuse blown

It turns out there is a second fuse under the hood on the drivers side that was blown.

I had talked to Honda and they said that they thought it was because of the security system, so this sent me on a wild goose chase.

What happened is I got one of the bad scosche wiring kits with power and ground wires swapped.

Of of many reasons I check all wiring on aftermarket harness. It happens more than you think.
