Disabling Speed Beeper

My Jazz is awesome in all regards - except one!!!

Above 120kph / 75mph the beeper sounds constantly!

This completely ruins any highway drive since our speed limits are higher - I'd appreciate any advice how to disable it.

I don't care if I also lose the beep function that reminds me of the seatbelt, lights on, etc., I just want the beep beep beep Beep BeeP BEEP! gone...

wow that really sucks! i get so angry when my car tries to tell me what to do. ive literally yelled at the top of my lungs at my truck for trying to tell me to put on my seatbelt. and it doesnt ask nicely for you to do something. it just annoys you into submission with a loud beep.

Thanks guys.

necro2600, yeah, unfortunately the guy doesn't say how, other that it involves removing gauges and soldering. I suppose there's not enough people doing this to have a step-by-step write-up.

navadv, if it's only 2-300 Dirhams, man, I'll definitely pay that to get rid of the beep!!! I go in for my 1k service next week, so I'll ask.
