WILL IT FIT??? civic type r Shift Boot

im wondering if this shift boot will fit our car....i want to replace mine but the mugen one thats made for the fit looks god awful and the top of the boot doesnt fit snugly on the stick so it makes it look just horrible. ive also seen and held both of these in person and this one is just way way nicer....

so if anyone knows if it will fit please lemme know.
and thanks to jhp for lending me the image

No, not even close. I bought one and had to do some major work to make it fit, it looks good but it was way to much work.

That is the 96-00 Integra Type R boot I had.. didnt fit too well. I know have the FA5 06-09 Civic Type R boot and it fit perfect by drilling in a couple holes and screwing it in.

fits like this around the edges...

screw drilling around that area. I'm just going to get the Mugen boot. It looks the exact same.

if you wanna pay for it go ahead.

chris: so the CTR boot fit in the inner silver ring? or did you cut it?

Actually the 08 Si boot is the same as the Type R boot and is only like $20 from Honda. $20 or $100.... $20 please! I trimmed the inner ring with a dremel and it fit perfect!
