cool, thanks for the link. I really want to get damplifier (possibly the pro). I may chicken out like you and not do the floor right away since it takes a bit more work. Depending on when I do my headliner Ill probably put some on the roof.

I would think that some of you guys with all that "Rep Power" would have a How-To on the forum on the topic on sound deadening. After all, how do you get all that rep power? Guess not. Anyway, you can go to this part of the forum and see what was done before:

sound

I put in a layer of quilting padding. A sheet across the trunk area did the trick. Stuff is light and cheap too...

I bought some dynamat extreme from EBAY, the man was selling 12'X12' sheets instead of 10'X10 en for the same price as 4 10' ones at my local store i had 8 12' sheets. i change my stock speaker ( which was a pain and did not work at first but that story is going to have is own thread, still got problem) So i put some dynamat aroud the speaker and inside the door behind the speaker ( i used some glove cause because of all the anti-rust oil in there.. you know Winter in Quebec :-)) and it really made the sound better. before when the sound was hight volume i could hear my plastic vibrating, Now no more. i did not do the whole door. my goal was not to sound proof the car but to help sound quality. and it work for me. but still the road noise as reduce a little too. so yeah that think really does work.
