thanks for all the help. appreciate it, and i will. would u suggest getting it installed professionally or just me and my dad doing it ourselves?

 

The Headunit is easy, if you buy an install kit and harness the kit will come with instructions on how to install it including how to take out the factory unit. The speakers will be a tad difficult, however if you look at my install log I detail it pretty well. The wiring will be the most difficult but again if you look at my install log you will get a nice set of pictures to guide you. Overall it is NOT that hard to install it yourself, just make sure you have as much time as you can and patience.

Trying to rush will only cause problems, and possible damage to equipment and your car. But there is no reason I see why you and your dad could not do it yourselves.

 

kam, the best advise I can give is to tell you to go out listen to a few different setups. What might not work for others might work for you just fine. I love screaming, ear piercing highs, and very tight accurate bass. Not many people like that. I don't want my bass over powering everything else. A lot of people like that kinda bass. Just get what you like thats in your budget. You're the only one that will be listening to it. If you get a sub, make sure the box is built to size.
