The fuel tank is also under the front seats so not a great place to put screws in or run electrical stuff.
If you want to use a can of goo instead of a spare you can use the spare tire well. Can build amp racks into sides of the boot or back of the rear seats. Plenty of inspirational photos on the net of Jazz / Fit audio installs. Alpine even did a show car with the Jazz back in 2002 (though its a bit extreme).
