My brother had him modify a titanium knob for his WRX. Had him press in weighted bronze threads and burn it for him. Uber quick turn around and also quality work.

sorry don but i got to agree with gd3vbp, having a matching boot and knob isn't really good looking... but change either one and it will definitely look dope!

DecalDude brass knuckle shift knob, limited quantities available, all the red are being powder coated =D. 1.75" in diameter for those who dont like the larger 2" knobs which are most common. made of brass for extra weight, im guessing around 380 grams or so, gotta get a scale to measure it.

special pricing of only $55 shipped =O

The powder coated ones will be here the week after next, got about 11 colors i think being made up, some pretty sweet looking ones, cant wait to get them. Also will have a 2" version coming as well as other shapes.

I've ran the Honda accessory Type-R knob(which is very very nice), then switched to a It's Proper bubble knob, and now a Mugen "new school" Knob. I love it to death.

I still think that Mugen piece is one of my fave ball shift knobs, regardless of the car. You gotta love their logo.

Is there such a thing as too heavy counterweighted knob? basically what i want to know is if there's a drawback to having a heavy knob... i've never owned one myself or even tried one!

btw this will be with T1R SS and H-fit hard bushings

I'm looking to get the GF4 from WC Lathe Werks, but i don't know if i go with hybrid, copolymer or stainless... if i chose to have metal on it i would like a blue finish... but i want copolymer so i don't burn/freeze my hand!

Yes, there are! It is harder to get the mass moving in the first place, so sometimes you might not time your clutch right, release it too early, and grind the gear. It's avoidable, but something that needs to be minded. Will smoothen out a short shift kit's "notchiness" though.

I have a blox 490g sphere one and I love it. Smooths out shifting. Doesn't make it feel so "cheap"

Only thing with all these metal knobs is that it's freaken cold during the winter time.

The shifter system in the Fit doesn't really need a weighted knob. I had my Skunk2 knob in my car for a week after I got it. Hated it, switched it immediately to a spoon til the logo fell off.

ditto. there's little to no effort in shifting the Fit. i had a spoon aluminum knob on my gd3 then i tried a myriad of different knobs but ended up with the spoon again. i found that compact and pistol grip knobs work best... for me anyway.

The one knob I've been eying for a while

My 08 Fit Sport shift knob basically tore its leather covering off the ball. So I've been looking for a knob that would match the BOM Fit I have. I see you have the 8 ball I've been eying. It looks really good in the Fit. Both of us are in FL too So I was hoping that the ball was at least a bit heat resistant!

Looks good!
