hahaha nah it dont hit the dash or anything, i hardly ever drive with it, usualy the old style mugen shift know is on. i only bring that thing out for meets. the throw is like 7 1/2 inchs though, shifts like butter! i got it for auotcross

are there any negatives to having a heavy shift knob? like, could anything be damaged? if not, the blox knob is mine! I like the Buddy Club one that I have, but it's not as heavy as I would like it to be. I'm also getting tired of the 1st to 2nd shift and all the clunky bullshit in between.

i had a skunk2 shift knob in my fit. didn't like it. too heavy. made shifting feel nasty. switched to the mugen dildo and haven't had any regrets. i even did the shifter extender mod and still great.

yeah, i was looking at the mugen dil, too. Does that one ever get hot? Isn't it aluminum?
