The Skunk2/Blox shift knobs are 440g, nearly a full pound. I can't imagine using a knob that weighs less than the stocker!

Yeah, this is bad quality cameraphone from yesterday after I installed the Mugen SS and accidentally ripped all the shiftboots' flaps out except one when I reinstalled it into the also-new JDM console excuse to get a T1R boot now lol

 

i have a skunk2 knob. i used it for about an hour, then it went in a box in my room. its too heavy makes the fit's shifter feel terrible. yuck. tried it in my brother's del sol, and the same thing. yuck.

ive also tried the passwordjdm ti knob. again, TOO LIGHT.

I had a Mugen dildo in my 95 Civic. It wasn't bad but I prefer my skunk2 to it

Got my new knob today! And I havent seen anyone with it yet. It fits nicely in the palm when shifting. But i'm used to the weight of the skunk2 knob. But great shift knob!

 

I had the same Blitz shift knob in my scion XB

 

haha. tight. yeah i like it. its small compared to the egg shape of the skunk2 though. but i like the round shape, wish it was heavier though.

 

i don't know if this is really possible but couldn't you take off the little blitz thing drill out the shift knob maybe and like fill it with lead or something? then put the blitz peice back on. i don't know just a brainstorm for making it heavyier

 

Hey thats actually a good idea. i dont have the proper tools for that but im sure its possible! You could probably drill out the whole thing while avoiding the center where its threaded and fill it with something.

 

i had the Skunk2 for 3 months then i just got sick of it lmao so i bought Rickygoshdarn's J's Blue Titanium shift knob. I dont regret it Even though its lighter than the skunk2 it sits lower and is easier for me to shift. Fits perfect with my Mugen Short Shifter.
