No real negatives I can see. You have to push just a tiny iny amount more since it weighs more, but it falls into gear easily. I can go from 3rd to 4th with the flick of my wrist. Literally.

My contribution...
Stock base knob with Milano Red paint. At least until I get a decent aftermarket one.

Anyone know if a stock DC2 shifter will fit on the fit? I assume it would.

It should. I'm 99% positive all Honda's have the same shift knob thread size.

Any automatic owner have the leather shifter with the silver strip? I've seen some dude here with all the red accent items (door panels, steering wheel, shifter, etc.) but I've never seen the silver one. Does it go with the silver of the rest of the inside (paddle shifters, knobs on sound system, etc.)?

Pics please. :]

+1 That Greddy knob is sick!!!

On a side note...Am I the only one who thinks that the OEM Base 5MT shift knob looks better than the OEM Sport 5MT one? I really wish I could have had a choice in which one I got with my car. I would have loved the Base knob because it fits the interior scheme a lot better IMHO

I would assume that most users of the MT shift knob shift with their hand on the top of the knob. I like shifting more from the side, and wonder - are there any MT knob shifters out there that are shaped more like the ones on the Fit AT?

I think Momo has some shift knobs that are close to what you're looking for:

or you could try the old style mugen knob if you like to hold it from the side.
