Taffy is approaching 5 years beginning of July.

Washed her this morning then took a run to Honda for anchor covers for seat belts.

Maybe next week her RSB and Sport grille will arrive.

While I was in there I noticed these rusty spots. I gave them a shot of black Rustoleum.

With the grill out easy to install a grill guard. You can see mine I did years ago. it has a few dents from stones.

RSB in the mail.

The RSC is installed. Had it done at my terrific small town Dodge dealer. Only $48. I somehow managed to drop a bolt under my workbench at home and I did not realize it until we had car on hoist. Well once home I found it and I called them and they took me in later the same day and put it in at no extra charge. I left them a $10 for Timmy's coffees the next morning.

Installation not the easiest. Maybe it was the Swifts? Anyhow I had to pry springs up to get some room for mechanic to drop bolts in on both sides. Do not try this at home on ramps. You will need jack stands at least to get some of the wieght off the springs. Then you need to find a correct Allen key. Fortunately the mechanic had one with a ball end. A straight one would not have gone in the Allen socket.

Difference? I guess there is some. Have not had a chance to really try it out on some on ramps -). The ride does seem to be a bit softer in the rear.

The on ramps are where it's at with that mod.

Installation is definitely easier with two people. Me and my skinny mechanic did it without jacking the car up but we cussed a lot.

Lol

Thank you. KoolKev on here supplied the keyring light. I have had it on for 4 years so the install is rather vague in my memory. Not that difficult. Have to drop the panel under the wheel. I totally forget how it is wired into the car. It was rather simple though.

Taffy turned 5 on the 7th.

My gas mileage for 5 years is

7.7 l/100 km or 30 mpg US and 36 mpg Imp. No attempts to conserve. A lot of my city driving I leave her in 3rd. On hwy usual speed is 110kph or almost 70mph.
