Trash can to make some liners....GENIUS!!!!

Going to Home Depot on my first day off. How did you attach them to the car?

Did you make a template out of cardboard first?

I probably should have made a template out of cardboard but didn't. I just winged it and I didn't have any issues. They attach using the stock mounting locations in the top and rear of the fender well

Finally got it back on the ground. Not much has changed, still need to get my sway bar re-attached.

What I did do was fix the front upper mounting plate. Was too large before and wasn't all that centered:

So its now cut and pretty much centered

So I ordered wheels at the end of July. I got them the end of last week.

15x8.5 +27 SL disk, SBC finish

So I ordered them knowing they might not clear the front brakes. Nothing a small spacer couldn't fix, just had to wait till I got them to figure out what size spacer I needed. Turns out 2.5mm is what I need so I ordered a 3mm spacer.

Fitment was spot on. Glad that I can still do math

Just needed some tires, 165/55r15 Achilles is what I ended up with.

Spacer for the front hadn't arrived yet so just put the rears on for the time being.

ASS ASS ASS ASS ASS

Threw my temporary spacers on this morning (washers lol, just to get the wheels on and in the driveway for pics)

Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Just need to figure out my driving height and get an alignment and its ready for some long needed mileage.

it would appear if you installed a J's lip that it would just push a pile of leaves around everywhere you go.

You need to trailer it to some of the low rider shows in California and Texas.. The Vatos would love that thing, especialy if you put a bowtie on it... Seriously though, it is a pretty car.. I like that you put the tiny tires on it and the wheels are gorgeous...
