can you even weld to a shock? wouldnt the heat mess stuff up?

yup, just weld in small increments and quench in water after each weld.

Or some washers can probably be used as spacers to take up the rest of the room. If I get them tomorrow I will do a detailed write up.

So the Koni's are in. Well one side is. Washers needed for the bottom and drilling of the top metal mount thing. I will post what pics I took today later and do a full write up tomorrow (maybe, depends on how much work I have).

Used a 15/32" drill bit to drill the stock top washer in order to fit the Koni

Not any lower yet but they compress 1.5-2in more than the stocks. I also bottom out on the bag bracket with 4in or so of shock travel so it should be good to go.
