Hi, Honda Fit 2007. This fell off from under the car. Is it a heat Shield?? Please help me identify the part so I can replace it and know if it would be safe to keep driving my car or not thanks you

 

Heat shield from the exhaust, it looks like it may have covered part of the catalytic converter. You might need to crawl under to find exactly where it came from. If the other half is still on the cat it probably looks just as rusty.

Don't park in the yard, you could start a grass fire.

 

If you haven't already, safely jack up your car and take a picture of the likely area it fell off. It looks like it would be from above the muffler or along the chassis where the exhaust runs. You shouldn't have a problem finding the damage.
