It really is a hard sound to describe. Its like a light click with a mixture of spring tension.

Hmm, mine seems like it doesnt make a thuck noise, but a CLICK. But weird, it happens with the same causes? Like driving slow backing into the driveway, and turning at slow speeds. Mine a different problem? I only have lowering springs on my car, so maybe its the perches? But again, its not a thuck.

well, i had some extra time on my hands yesterday so i began investigating the THUCK/CLICK noise...
SHG_Mike and Kenchan... you guys rock![Big Grin](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
i pulled out the shock and tightened the nut on the lower portion of the top mount (you were right kenchan, it is a 19mm nut). while the endlink was off, i went ahead and added the extra washer for s.hits & giggles.. tadaaa NO MORE NOISE
thanks, everyone, for your suggestions! i'm sure they'll help someone (like myself) down the line

not really a guide, but you will have to remove the strut
from the car, remove the top mount, and tighten the
nut below on the piston shaft. it's not hard to do, just
time consuming.
and dont let that knuckle fall off your lift or box or watever
you are using to hold it cause it will disconnect the CV joint
to make a 15-20min job into a 1hr+ job. lol

before tearing the suspension apart again i would first try adding some more spring tension. after i had "fixed" the noise, i still had a few hints of it when going over bumps/driveways with the wheel turned. i added more spring tension and that did the trick.

^^ i tried to live with it too but it bugged me enough to try and fix it.
i'm really diggin' your wheels! are those kosei's? they look like it, but i'm a wheel noob and could be wrong.
