Loud Squealing Noise

Hey everyone! I just purchased and installed my SKunk2 Pro-C coilovers (group buy FTW!) and used this website to help me install it: Honda Fit Skunk2 Pro-C Suspenion Installation - JHPUSA

I ended up with a very mild drop (0.5" in front and 0.75" in the rear) and I'm running on damper setting #7. The car rides nice... except for one problem...

there's a loud horrible squealing/squaking noise coming from the passenger side front suspension. It sounds as if the tires are dragging (aka the sound that a tire makes when turned on the smooth parking garage pavement). It happens sporadically only when I go over 25mph and it happens even more so when I hit bumps in the road or make turns. I triple checked the nuts/bolts on everything i installed and followed the instructions to the letter.

Some suggestions I have heard is the end-link? But my end-link it tightened while the rim was on the floor. Some say damper setting, but I tried stiff to soft. Could it be my alignment? It feels super off right now... Any further clues? Please help! thanks!

Ok here's something to check...make sure that you put the little rubber "hat" onto the shock/spring assembly before you put it back into place. That may cause the noise.

I almost did this on my spring install and then found the hat and went oh shit.

Good suggestion, though I just double checked and yes the rubber hat pieces are there.

Any other ideas? I'm really feelin like its the alignment the more that I drive it, the wheels feel to be going in different angles...

it's probably your alignment. when i went from pro-c's back to stock springs/shocks the toe was so bad i could hardly drive it on the street -- lots of tire squealing when i'd get over 10mph. when i got it fixed the read out was -4 degrees left front and +0.5 degrees right front or something like that
