^^^ I haven't tried using the candle wax trick yet but I have heated bolts until they start to glow. (note that I said start to glow and not literally glowing red hot. But with exhaust bolts, I let them glow red hot as there is not much of risk damaging other areas most of the time.)

You're right. The point is to expand the hole. But it has been said that heating up while spraying PB Blaster and other sorts of penetrating lube, even letting them soak for a good amount of time was not enough so they use candle wax as a final step before resorting to last resort measures like breaking the bolts etc.

Yeah! finally RSB and springs completed!!! I ended up paying 10$ in local garage too loosen the bolts, the one on the right was easy with an air impact... but the one on the left had to be heated red hot... than it finally came loose! the rest really was easy to do... even with very hot weather :P it's really easier if you work on both sides at the same time... and if you use a floor jack, you don't have to use too much muscle

Arn't you glad you spent the $10?

When I had mine done at my local Dodge dealer they jacked the rear while it was on the lift and both came out easy.

So what are you playing with now that those nuts are finally off?

I made halfhearted attempt to put throttle controller in today but quit as too hot.
