It looks like Swift still has part numbers for the GD3 but where can you buy them?

I concur... they'll work fine with stock shocks (which I did) but if you can afford it it'll be better with performance shocks.

Oh yes, if you need or want to add camber up front via camber bolts, do that at the same time as the springs. The bolts are inexpensive.

I bought mine in November from Autocityimports.com for $262.20. Use C627H7 coupon code at checkout to save $15.

The two websites i found that still have them for sale new, and specifically quote a lowering rate, both agreed with 1.2/1.0" F/R.
Wish I'd measured mine when I installed them..

I used google shopping and entered the P/N, "swift 4H912" to be exact, and it brought up four sites. Two of them had specs, and they matched.

question about the rubber ring

Hello,

So I've been on swifts for about 50k now and have some questions:

1) How long do you think they'll last?

2) How important are the black rubber rings? I ask because today I noticed something hanging down from the rear passenger side wheel. Took a closer look and the ring seems to have either torn or fallen off (I'll take a closer look tomorrow)

Thanks!

So I just went through all the pages in this thread. I don’t know if I’ll get a response but here it goes:

So from what I’ve read here and in other threads, swifts are genuinely awesome. I really want to get them but here is my issue. I bought my 08 fit second hand and it has like 95k on it. Therefore the shocks have travelled quite a bit. I’m a student and I don’t drive a lot. I don’t have much money either so I could only get the springs. Shocks are out of my price range for now

So is getting new swifts on 95k old stock shocks a bad idea?

Suggestions are greatly welcomed!

get em

Shocks and some swifts will run you about $500

My advice: do it!

You'll need the shocks soon anyways, can be an excellent DIY project after winter, and will make your ride much better.

$500 can be saved if you do a few things:

- drive less
- eat out less
- go out less

be more cognizant of your spending and what not...fortunately winter is around the corner and since you are young, your christmas list is probably short and you can do all of these things during the cold months ahead....

Whoa that was fast! Thanks for the quick reply

The thing is I live in Miami so I actually get to do all those things more as I finally have time off from school lol.

But yeah I get what you are saying. I am going to try and save up for both.
But if I were to get just springs on my old stock shocks, would it be "bad"?

Anyone running this tire and wheel combo on Swifts? If so please comment on any rubbing. I am getting close to pulling the trigger on a set but want to make sure.

16x7 offset 40 with 205/50/16.

Seller says he has T1R springs which are soft, it rubs when there is a dip on the road.

Thank you

bill

You should check in this thread ---> https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ire-specs.html

iirc, you should be ok with those specs, but check the thread to be sure.
