An other diy coilover question!!! HELP!
well i must be half retarded or something cause today i tired to install my skunk2 pro c coilovers and failed miserably!
here is my problem, i took out the stock strut and spring, but when i tried to put the new coilover in, i couldnt figure out how to tighten the top locking nut down? am i missing something?
i also have no idea what height i should be at( as far as installing the coilover to get a estimate on how low it will be when i drop the car down) has anyone taken measurements(or can someone take some for me)
oh and to make it that much worse, the drive shaft came out of the diff and it was very difficult to get it back in, by the time i got that bakc in it was dark so i just threw on the stock spring and strut combo just to drive home.
can someone show me some pics please! thanks

lol sorry, i'd like to help you, but i don't get what you mean exactly? this should be a pretty simple install...
Did you check tofuman's DIY for springs? https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...07-08-gd3.html

to tighten the nut on the top of the damper, u need two wrenches, one for the nut and a smaller one for the damper shaft? (dont know the technical term)
height wise, just make sure each side is equal and then adjust to ur preference.

I'm going to be in the same boat as you in a couple days. Maybe read through this guide and see if that explains anything.
