Tie rod question! help!

Tie rod question! help!

so i installed my skunk2 coilovers today and i tightened everything down, but when i drive there is a knocking sounds!
the only thing i wasnt sure about on the install was the length i was suppose to set the tie rods at! i have then set to the smallest length, would this some how cause the knocking?
any ideas?

Are you sure one of them did'nt snap? just check if there was rubbing on the subframe with your swaybar...

oh and yes the tie rod should be the ones doing noise if everything else is nice and tight

nope one did not snap, i took the front wheels off last night and checked, i also looked for marks on the sub frame that the sway bar would have left.
idk maybe i should just take it to a mechanic and have them double check my work.

oh i fixed it this morning! it was one of the tie rod bolts! it was just loose

lol... thought so... one of mine would'nt screw completely, and the car felt like a rented mule until i replaced it

hey one other question, on the rear, are your spring seats(those silver things) on the top or on the bottom? cause mine are on the bottom, i wasnt sure how to do it?!
