whats everyone runnin for tire pressure

on the stockers, had the issue with the tire pressure light come on after some dramatic temp changes recently. so i took them and filled up to about 48-50psi. just curious to see what other people are running.

I can understand the difference of 2 pounds in my bike tires. But in the car?

I always run the recommended pressure. 33 front / 30 rear is whats recommended for the HFP wheels.

I had a similar issue...

And yah I don't think 48-50 is a good idea since the max is around 52psi. Wasn't it riding like crap with that kinda pressure?

I run 40 psi, for less rolling resistance. the TPMS is set off by 25% less than the factory PSI of 32 or about 24 PSI

I set mine to 40 a few days ago. It was at about 28-30 all around. I like it better now.

45

Due to various posts here I slowly creeped up on the PSI and am now at 45 PSI. The ride is harsher but you get used to it. I'm going for MPG.

I'm with feddup. Mine have a max of 51 PSI, and that's what's in them. They roll like nobody's business.

If you over inflate your tires may wear uneven. I believe it causes the center of the tire to wear sooner.
