So I bought these quite a while ago. They were all white when I bought them. Some of the paint was chipping so I decided to repaint them. And man was it tough. I will let you know this, if you have quality wheels and you want to repaint them it takes some time. I used aircraft stripper and had to do each wheel 3 times to get all the original paint off. I was surprised when I stripped the first wheel that there was a polished lip under all that paint. That was a plus for me because I wanted to repaint the whole wheel, instead I will be leaving the polished lip.

After about an hour of masking I finally painted one of the wheels today and it turned out great. I put down 3 coats and like the color without a clear. But I know if put down a clear it will look more shiney with an added protection against the elements.

 

i like the stock white color.
