Will they fit?

Hello all,

I have an 09 and need to get some summer shoes. I'm looking at the Sport Edition CD from Tirerack. They are 15X6.5 40mm offset 5.31" backspacing and a 195/60R15 tire. They say a rim with less than 45mm offset is an "Aggressive fitment" and could need some fender rolling. I don't want to have to do any body mods. The rest of the car is bone stock. Has anyone put these on and had or not had any issues.

Also, they say the new wheel sensors will have to be programmed at the dealer. I called my local and they thought there shouldn't be any programming and the car should recognise them. I'm hoping I wont have to make a trip to the dealer twice a year switching form summer to winter wheels. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

First of all, I say welcome to you for joining the FF family.
Second, please use the search function next time.
Please check out this thread, a lot of different set-ups are on there together with pictures to help people eyeball the wheel/tire set-up they want:

But to answer your question, the wheel specs are ok but I'm not so sure about the tire size. The sidewall is too thick for that set-up, and (correct me if I'm wrong) I think the correct size should be 195/55/15 to keep the speedometer accurate.

As for your TPMS sensors, you only need to re-program them if you use a new set of sensors. So if you're using the sensors that are on your oem wheels, you shouldn't need to re-program them.

On a GE 195/60/15 is fine and closer to stock size than the 55 sidewall. I'm not going to comment on the rubbing, because I don't know, but there's a wheel fitment and rubbing thread on this site you can reference.

Yes if you're buying new sensors they need to be programmed. Are you keeping the steel wheels/tires/sensors together? You could try to swap the sensors to the new wheels instead of getting new ones if not.
