17x8....will it FIT

Anyone have any input on what offset would allow me to run an 8 inch wide wheel? Want to fit 17x8 but 16x8 would be acceptable.

hey sorry to interrupt.... i just bought Fit & very new to car mods.

can i install 17x9 rims? the offset is 30....
is there any mods needed to use the rims?
