30-50% advance with two hood per week production should be adequate as we are already in it for the 130% mark-up as previously posted.

Oh wow. I havent kept up the last few weeks. I totally didnt expect it to get off the ground this fast. How much do we have to pay right now? Im going to Colorado next week(for DATR) and Bahamas the next month. Cash is tight, I wasnt expecting to put down more than a hundred this soon :/ I might be able to get 200. I mean, I can wait longer than everyone else to get the hood, but I dont want to put it off for YOU guys.

Ok guys,
I expect JDP will want a downpayment of $60-90....

A hood hasn't even been mocked up yet, so he may not want down payments for 1-2 weeks. Personally, I won't be able to pay for the whole hood until mid-late September, and I expect this to be true for the majority of us.

So to answer the remaining Q's:
1. What - fiberglass or CF versions of a lightweight, vented hood
2. When - expect the first hoods sometime in September to October. Plan to put down your deposit in the next 7-14 days.
3. How much - depends on the number committed. Worst case scenario will be around $580. Hopefully less - again, if we had 5 more on board it would only be $425...HOLLA AT YOUR BUDDIES!!!! Expect to pay a $60-90 deposit until further notice (set aside $100 just to be safe). Shipping charge is separate.
4. Why - if you have to ask, then this ain't for you grandma...

This will be fine. Set aside some cash for the down payment then go enjoy Colorado!

Not a dumb question at all. The overall cheapest route will be to just get a carbon fiber version and call it a day. Personally, I want to colormatch mine and paint the duct area in black to set it off. So yeah, I'm gonna have to take t somewhere together it sprayed. You may be able to get it done for $100 bucks locally. Ask around smaller shops will usually do it in the off hours for big savings.

Would love to have you in the group!

You could always put a deposit now (to help bring down the price for everyone) and pay at your leisure...i.e. Christmas, thanksgiving, etc

Hahaha I know me too! I have a birthday coming up and I am probably just gonna ask for cash now and buy this. Or I can always sell all my stuff, which I will probably do
