Pretty spendy, and they appear to be the (silver reflector) Hybrid type upper lights…
Just an FYI. Still poking around for lights for my car.

I contacted the eBay seller of the OEM lights, and pointed out his part numbers were for the standard (red reflector) lights, but his picture showed the hybrid (silver reflector) lights.
He has corrected the listing, and apparently can get either type:
Standard (red reflector strip lights on hatch)
Hybrid (silver reflector strip lights on hatch)
With shipping to the USA from Japan, the total is $922. That's high on the "ouch" factor, but I'm strangely tempted!

Wow, that's some craziness right there! Hang on a bit, I'm sure there will be much cheaper ones in the near future.
Look at it this way, if you wait for the price to come down you'll be able to buy other parts with the money you saved!

I heard back from Anthony, who confirmed from the repro light supplier that they do not intend to offer "standard" lights (tailgate) with the red reflector - they will only be offering the "hybrid" light with the silver reflector.

With Stembridge continuing his stellar efforts in sourcing the LED rear lights, am hoping there is no confusion with all the info coming out.
Got my upper LED's which are parts specifically for the JDM GK Hybrid. They are not silver. The LED's comes w/ a red reflector. Unlit, during daytime, it would be hard, from a distance, to tell it apart from our MDM parts.
To be clear, the JDM part nos. are:
UPPER Taillights LED R & L:
34150-T5A-J21
34155-T5A-J21
Cost in Japan is around Y31,000 (US$320 no shipping). Am sure there will be some enterprising source that's going to appear on Ebay selling them at a respectable price.
The posted Ebay link earlier on LED set (upper and lower) for $900+ is pretty accurate for the cost in Japan. However, being a cheap fellow, that's why I only got the uppers.
UPDATE 11/15: Go to post #698 in the "What Mods......." thread. Stembridge just installed JDM OEM Upper and Lower LED tails he sourced from Ebay. He's the first FF with the complete set-up.
