Hi all, I am curious if I can stiffen up the clutch on the fit anyway other than actually replacing it. Open to ideas. As far as I can tell know one on our forum has done this yet. My thoughts so far are that some cars will have a clutch pedal spring that provides resistance, and also pulls the pedal back to it's original position. Curious if this could be replaced with a heavier one, but as far as I can tell the Fit has no spring. Not sure how the pedal is returning exactly. Also thinking about adding a spring directly to the pedal. Wondering what thoughts people had.
Nevermind it was the gas pedal that the spring was added too. You could do the same for the clutch though.

One thing I did encounter when I first got the Fit (2009) was severe right leg pain. Good old sciatic nerve was taking a beating. It was from the soft gas pedal. I was trying to hold my foot up so as not to speed. This would cause pain. I solved that by adding a spring to the pedal. It has been on now for over 9 years and works well.
