Anybody has this oil leak problem?

I have an 07 Fit Sport Auto and have this oil leak problem that's not really a problem but its like a really slow leak. I see the leak pretty much around the bottom of the radiator where the radiator hose is connected into it. Its so bad that pretty much the oil pretty much covered the up the whole hose and around it and I could see oil like on the bottom of my transmission cover. I can take a towel and wipe it off to clean it up.

I changed my oil recently and it seems like its not a crazy leak because a lot of oil does come out. What do you think could be the problem? Thanks!

I am not to familar with the underside of this car as i just bought mine recently. The first thing off the top of my head was the oil filter. (since it is mounted on the front side of the motor) If it doesnt have a good seal or the seal from the last filter got stuck on the engine, then it is probably leaking...

There have been complaints of rocks bouncing around the engine bay and breaking A/C condensers. If the car is prone to debris entering the underside of the engine compartment you may want to consider that as another possibility.

Are you sure it's oil? That area is where lines to the Auto transmission cooler connect maybe it's auto trans fluid.

This is a case where immediate attention is required and it takes examination not inquiries here. See your dealer. An oil leak is potentially serious and at leasty the first 36,000 miles is a Honda problem.
Whether its automatic fluid or engine oil is immaterial; finding the source and curing is required.

If you want to further diagnose, what color is the 'oil'?

The oil is pretty much black from all the residue build up but the oil underneath the transmission is like kinda brownish.

What does the residue smell like?
It'll stink if it's transmission fluid.

Turns out it was transmission fluid leaking. Some of it got into the lower radiator hose so they're replacing it. Those bastards didn't have one in stock so I won't get my car back until Monday. Great!
