Drying Soaked Seat Cushions
Hi All. I've been stalking this forum for years, but never joined for some reason, so thank you in advance for years of answering my questions (and hopefully this one too)!
So dummy me left a bottle of Coca-Cola on the passenger seat last night. I get in the Fit today on my way home from work only to find an empty bottle... the lid wasn't tight enough and about a cup of the stuff leaked out and soaked into my passenger seat and began dripping onto the floor.
After using almost an entire roll of paper towels I lifted and propped up the carpet to get some airflow via fan; no big deal. My real concern is the seat: will I get mold or mildew growing in there? I searched here and the interwebz, but couldn't find how to remove the cushion without pulling the entire seat. What's the best way to clean up my mistake?
Thoughts?
