When to change break & trans fluid

I have a 2013 Honda Fit Sport with 39k miles. It needs the oil changed and the Honda Service rep is trying to upsell a 30k tune-up. I've done everything on that list except replace/drain break and trans fluid. Is this necessary or an upsell? If so, how often is required for maintenance? I purchased the car 09/2013 so in 5 months I'll have owned it 6 years. My manual does not specify. Thanks for your help.

BRAKE fluid is suggested around 3 years because brake fluid will absorb moisture.

Not sure on the 2013 with the automatics, but on my 2015 CVT the maintenance minder came on for the CVT fluid around 50k.

Thank you for your response. Looks like I need this maintenance.

I have a 2016 EX that just turned 30,000 miles. Brake fluid changed 2 months ago and just did the CVT fluid last week.
My service minder did not come on. Interestingly enough my mpg went from daily driving of 37.7 with snow tires in northern VT (cold) to 42.5 mpg after the CVT fluid change.

Thank you for your comment. I hope my mpg improves as impressively as yours! I'm only getting 26 mpg city/hwy combined at the moment.
