A question about wheel alignment

In 2014, My 2004 Fit was struck on the right rear side, amongst other things bending the wheel in a little. As part of the repair process the wheel was straightened but now I notice that the tires, at least the rear (both of them) are wearing from the inside out. When I look at the alignment of the rear tires, both of them are tilted in slightly compared with the fronts being more in straight alignment with the body. Is this normal alignment for the rear tires? If one or both of the tires was tilted in more than it should be, would this show up in a four wheel alignment which I've had or does the alignment only correct for X or Y plane alignment and would not pick up if the wheel was tilted out of alignment?

Interesting too, I have a humming noise (almost sounds like an airplane) coming from the rear, not severely but noticeable in speeds above 40. I rode in the back and ascertained it was coming from the passenger side (incidentally the same side I was struck with during the accident). As I have been thru this before, I was quite certain it was the wheel hub/bearing assembly and had it replaced. Much to my chagrin, it did not fix the problems. I have since, just this weekend, had the tires rotated to see if the problem area shifted. I still hear the hum but can't quite tell for certain if it's still from the right rear or not. Do you think tires with less inner than outer tread could cause this? The ride is still fairly smooth. My mechanic says the bearing integrity from both sides is sound with no play and really thinks it's the tires. The tires (MasterCraft SRT Touring - never liked from the start) only have maybe 20k miles on them. The mechanic said live with the sound and ride them for another 15-20K until they wear more.

Thanks for any thoughts.
