Towing MT 2nd gen Fit behind U-Haul 2 up?

Hi all,

About to move west from Colorado over the mountains and I currently have a 10' truck with a tow dolly reserved for me. I have a 2013 manual transmission Fit that I just took in for an oil/filter and transmission fluid change, so we're good to go there (tread on the tires is fine, brakes are down to 3/32 but I'm planning to take care of that once I land).

I'm currently just planning to tow it with the two front wheels off the ground/on the dolly and the two rear wheels on the road. I'm a little worried because of the Fit's relatively low clearance, so just wanted to check and make sure others had done this before. I'm being overly cautious, right? This should be fine? (Considered towing a trailer behind the Fit, but decided against it after reading your advice on this forum, so thank you!)

You will not have any transmission issues. Ground clearance, I cannot say.

You have the manual transmission. Why not just tow with all four wheels on the ground?
