Brake light switch access

Hi guys,
Brake lights staying on all the time on my 2006 Jazz.
I suspect brake switch or stopper (no tell tale stopper pieces though).
What I'd like to know is if I have to remove any thing, such as lower part of dash, to get to it or should I be able to get to it by feel?
My mechanic is about 5 km away and don't really want to drive with brake lights stuck on. I live in Thailand and the driving is already crazy enough without me adding to it!!!!
Any advice would be grateful

Fixed.
It turns out it was the brake switch stopper. I found the pieces sitting on the under dash cover when I removed it and replaced it with a one inch screw.
For access I removed the Under dash cover Driver's Dashboard Under Cover Removal/Installation
And also the fuse lid assembly Fuse Lid Assembly Removal/Installation
