Cargo Light question

Does anyone know how the cargo light is actuated? I thought my bulb was burned out so I put one of those bright LED units in. But I don’t seem to have any power coming to the fixture. I don’t see any push buttons around the door frame to switch it. And I can’t find any switches inside the car. Any advice would be appreciated big time…(2007 Fit Sport)

Not sure but I just put one of those bright ass LEDs in myself, game changer yall! Hell yaerh

Flip the LED around to see if it's a polarity issue.

Likely pressure switch in the hatch door. Door ajar (open) light in dash console should also not work if cargo light is tied to the door switch. So put the key and check.
