I've just tried to clean my headlights, with less than the desired results. The photos show them after using the alleged good product.
Even reading the Instructions first & doing my best to follow them. Did not help.
This possibly seems to be because the supplied sandpaper pieces are unable to stick to the supplied sponge pads. Because as soon as the pads get loaded with lubricant, the sandpaper falls off .
Googles search headlight restoration sandpaper grit results recommended from 800 to 2000 grits. Whilst Armorall grits were not accurately labeled. The finest was possibly 8,000. With the roughest possibly 2,000.
After being less than impressed with the first ( left ) headlight. I soaked the right in WD40 for 15 minutes, before trying googles sandpaper choices, over a small non-critical portion of the lens. Which also proved to give less than the desired results. So I reverted to trying to follow The Instructions. With the result shown.
I'm going to buy some sponge backed velcro pads & appropriate sandpaper pieces to use, next time.
Project farm did a test and found a Sylvania kit worked the best..

I was going to try it on my GD. I also read about just getting some 2k clear coat and sand paper, which can last much longer.
Before we traded our '09 Fit Sport for the '19 Fit EX we now have we tried using baking powder (BP) to attempt to clean/clear the lenses on its headlights. Using various ratios of BP/ water we did manage to get the lenses fairly clear but they weren't perfect, just better.
