Fit dies under falling tree

I feel your pain. I also lost a Fit during the holidays. Less than 50 miles from where yours met it's end. I had only 3300 miles on it.
A tree fell on mine while it was parked with no one in it. It is totaled. Insurance will cover everything including GAP. I should have a new one in a week or two. Same color, same manual 5 speed, same options.

Sorry to hear about your accident.
Very dangerous to drive on ice patch. Expect the unexpected in the winter.
Snow tires or studded tires can be helpful, if you don't have them then you need to be very careful indeed.
Traction on ice is
Non -existant.
Glad no one was hurt.
Makes you want to park in a garage and not out where others can slide into your car. Even in shopping malls!
