Hello all. haven't had my Fit but about a year. When I bought it the pass side headlight was dim, on DRL's or headlights, and both beams. I got top looking at it and can see that the pigtail for the headlite was changed. it was spiced it the harness. all the connections are good. I think it has to be a ground problem, Has anyone ever seen this before. thanks
High and low beam share a ground wire from the bulb to the chassis (ground point G201):
G201 looks to be behind the front bumper cover. Number 6:
Though if someone replaced the headlight connector, I would unwrap their ground wire splice to verify there's more than un-stripped wire and a glob of solder in there.
Thank you for the information. I didn't know where to look for the ground. I did check the joint where they replaced the pigtail, it was a crimp fitting so I soldered the joint already. I'll check out the grounds and get back to ya. thanks again.
