When I ordered my base model 18 weeks ago, I asked if I needed to order the keyless entry option in order to get the security system installed. The salesperson told me it was included with the security system and no I did not need to order it in addition to the security system.

Yesterday, the salesperson I am now working with (who is not the one I ordered the car from due to other issues) called to tell me that I need to get the keyless entry (for an additional $219) to get the security system.

My question is, is this true or does the keyless entry come with the security system?

Im 99% sure that you have to buy it. Go on hondas website and they have it listed as a accesorie for the base model, sport it comes standard.

 

you could go aftermarket and it is a hole lot cheaper and will have more options than the one you can purchase from honda.

 

Thanks. I have been lied to more than once by this dealer, so I wanted to make sure this is legit. And perhaps confusion on the part of the first salesperson, which still isn't cool but at least I'm not being taken for a ride.

 

Thanks. Good idea for other accessories. My last car was stolen from in front of my house, so I don't want to leave the dealer without an alarm system in place!
